Installation
At 7 am, initial observation confirmed all 32 units installed on Day 1 were draining well. The remaining 20 units were installed. The 2 ½” units were installed with adapter plates into 4” cored holes. The adaptor plates were mounted skewed to allow these units to be easy change out in the future for the 4” filters. One concern was that a few mounting screw heads had been sheared off during installation when torqued too hard by the nut driver. The crew decided to perform the final tightening using a socket wrench. This prevented the shearing.
